MCGI gathered a 3days of thanksgiving held in Apalit Pampanga last September 27-29, 2013. Thousands of people attend on that event to give thanks and give praises to God for the countless blessings we received.

           Bro.Eli Soriano and Bro.Daniel Razon gave wonderful topics that enlightened a large number of people. We learn more about Faith and how we are going to pray properly.  We also enjoyed in giving praises to God through singing.

I really like the moment when East and West sing a song of praises. From the monitor we see Bro. Eli sing together with other brethren and then after that, Apalit will continue singing praises. Alternate singing from East and West is an unforgettable moment for me because I feel                                                                        so much gladness in my heart in giving praise to God.

Most of us didn’t know how we are going to survive in 3days but because of our Faith that God will provide our needs we successfully finished the 3days of thanksgiving.

A lot of words of wisdom we absorbed in that 3days. How I wish, that 3days will extend in 1 week of thanksgivingJ. I am very excited on the next PNK.

All I can say is to God be all the Glory. J

Last September 13, 2013 MCt-2A together with Mr. Dominic Meily and Photoville members gathered a Photo walk in Intramuros. That was the first photo walk I experienced. We are divided into several groups and lead by Photoville members.

We went to different street in Intramuros to take a pictures. We enjoyed in taking photos of different subjects either a people or anything we can see. We also appreciate the Historical place (Intramuros).

I really like to take a picture of children on the street because I can see their real emotion.They keep on smiling in front of the camera and it makes me feel happy. We also take candid photos. I am happy because I apply what we learn about Photography subject. Mr. Willy and Mr. Russel guide us on how we are going to take a good quality of image.

We walk along the street for a whole day. I felt that my legs are aching but I ignore it because I want to take more pictures.

This experienced is unforgettable. I hope this is not the last Photo walk we will encounter.

"SCHOLARS"

       Most of us believe that education is the key of success, precisely YES! because if we are educated people we can have a better way of living. Education can save us from extreme problems like, being innocent of important aspects in our own life, low quality of job opportunities and even low status of health.

        If we are not well-educated, we can't properly hurdle circumstances in different situation. We might give up easily, because we don't know how to find solution in our problems.

        Being a scholar is a very big opportunity, but as a scholar you must give an extra effort and sacrifices to reach high grades and maintain your scholarship grant. It's not easy to be a scholar because you will live in pressure, more tears and often feeling of tiredness.

        Most of the time, you feel like quitting but if you have an extreme goal, you will pursue and strive for it to achieve success in life.

        The good news is, we have "La Verdad Christian College" produced by the two role model people, Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon. They give opportunity to those people who want to have a better future. This school is not exclusive only to smart students but also to deserving students. You will surely get the high quality of education and you can also gain the good moral as a Christian.

Mga kalahok sa UNTV CUP kasama si Bro. Daniel Razon na may hawak mismo ng bola

Patuloy na sinusubaybayan ang laban ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno na kalahok sa basketball tournament na kung saan ay may mga napiling charitable institution ang bawat grupo.

Matatandaan na pinangunahan ito ni Bro. Daniel Razon ng magsimula ang laban noong July 29, 2013 sa Araneta Coliseum sa Cubao.

Nakilahok sa larong ito ang pitong ahensya ng gobyerno kabilang dito ang AFP(Armed Forces of the Philippines), PNP(Philippine National Police), Judiciary, Philhealth, Department of Justice, MMDA at ang Congress/LGU.

Ito ang larong may layunin na makatulon sa mga nangangailangan at makapagbigay ng totooong serbisyo sa publiko.

Leila De Lima , nagsalita na tungkol sa pagbibitiw ni director Rojas.

"Justice Secretary Leila De Lima, pinagbibitiw sa pwesto ang mga deputy secretary ng NBI."

            Ayon sa pahayag ni DOJ Secretary Leila De Lima, ang mga deputy director ng NBI ang dapat mag-resign at hindi si NBI director Nonnatus Rojas.
             
"ang mga deputy directors ang dapat mag-isip na mag-offer ng resignation, hindi si director Nonni," sabi ni De Lima.

       Aniya, kakasuhan naman na ang itinuturong utak ng Pork Barrel Scam na si Janet Lim-Napoles kaya hindi na dapat pa na umalis si Rojas sa NBI.

        Ayaw niya umano mawalan ng isang mabuting tauhan. Sa kabila nito, nananatili pa din daw ang kanyang tiwala at ni pangulong Aquino kay Nonnatus Rojas.

        Samantala, sagot naman ni NBI Deputy Director for Regional Operation Services na si Atty. Virgilio Mendez na magbibitiw siya sa pwesto sa tamang panahon kung wala ng tiwala sa kanyng kapasidad.

"Sir Coach !"

        I had a great time when I gathered an interview with Mr. Joemicco Salomon. He is a P.E instructor in La Verdad Christian College Caloocan. He is 31 years of age, he share about his personal background. He said that, he likes those people who are willing to obey on what he command and can follow his rules. He didn't like those people who violate his rules.His motto in life,"I will graduate on time no matter how long".

        In his free time,,he loves to watch different movies and play computer games  that can relieve his stress, he also like strolling at the mall. We also talked about his educational background, in his college time, he enter at U.E he took one and a half year in that school, taking up engineering course but he decided to stop his studies because of financial problem. He work with his father as a laborer, he didn't received any amount in his job, but he got some, for his own expenses. He save his money because he want to enroll in PNU, his parents didn't know about that, by June he told to his father that he will going to school, his father wondered how will he come to school, he told that he already enrolled so his father let him. In weekends he still work with his father. He also share that, in 2001-2009 he was in college, it took so long because he is a working student and he also went to Arnis training, he just took minimum subjects or five to six subjects and by the help of God he finished his studies.

       We also talked about his achievements, he share that his first achievement in education was by the time that he was in elementary, he got an award the in high school he was the "Cadet of the year". In his college times he was an officer in ROTC and he got a "Loyalty award". When he was in PNU, the very first medal that he received in Arnis competition was a silver medal, he always got a silver or bronze medal in every competition, he never loose in elimination, he got loose in championship. One time he join the competition, 80 athletes join and his opponent was from the Ateneo and with the help of God he was the champion. He keep on joining in every Arnis competition, he also join in "World competition", and that was the time that he was known by the athletes and Arnis officers. They offer Mr. Joemicco as a police or a leader, but Sir Joms felt that teaching was his desire so he reject those offers. After he was graduated in college he was a crew in Shell gasoline station in one year he was a team leader until one time, Ma'am Shiela ask him to be an instructor in La Verdad Christian College Caloocan, so he dare to resign in Shell gasoline station, but his manager didn't let him because he was very good team leader. So he work at the Shell gasoline station and at the same time, he also teach in La Verdad Christian College. 

     He also encounter failures like when he loose the game in Arnis competition and when the time that he can't buy the things that he wants because he don't have much money to afford. I ask him how he overcome those failures, he said that he gave more patience in that situation and wait for the right time that he can afford those things for himself. The worst thing happened to him is when his father got mad at him in front of many people.He overcome those failures by perseverance and determination to achieved his goals.He also said that we need self-discipline in managing our time.

     He also share about his future plans; first, he want to have the things he can't afford before. Next, is to finished his masteral and last is to stay strong in serving God. He also give an advice as a professor, he said that keep on moving, keep on striving for your goals and don't waste the opportunity that you have right now to finish your studies.

     The best thing that happen to him is when the time that he knew the truth. It was also a key for him to strive in his goals and keep on serving God in his entire life. Sir Joms  is a model to all students, because with all his experiences he still achieved his goals. It's not true that if you are poor, you can't achieved anything.If you have a will or determination you will achieved your goals.

            Dear Kuya is a program hosted by Bro. Daniel Razon also known as "Mr. public service". Dear Kuya is now airing on UNTV Radio La Verdad 1350 kHz.
       
           It is launched last January 14, 2013, this program is a kind of resolving problems of different people, common problems about their lives, relationships, health and more. It is giving an advice. The letter sender's story was narrate by Bro. Daniel Razon and it seems an actual because of some students in La Verdad Caloocan dramatized the story.
     
         Bro. Eli Soriano is the one who gave an advice with biblical insights. through dramatization, it allows the listener to use their imaginations, unlike television, both audio and video are provided, it leave nothing left for the viewers to imgine.

        Dear Kuya is much different in other radio program. We are thankful to our God for this kind of blessing to our leaders, through them, many people was enlightened.

        I keep on praying for the continuous  progress of this program.
